UNH Manchester Hosts Transfer Tuesdays in October
Manchester, NH – For people interested in returning to college or those who want to explore the benefits of UNH’s urban campus in Manchester, UNH Manchester’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions is hosting free “Transfer Tuesday” sessions during the month of October. The sessions are held from 2 to 6 PM on October 6, 13, 20, and 27.
In today’s world, many students do not complete a college degree during their first four years after high school graduation. It is very common for career goals and interests to change as students begin their college careers. Sometimes, a first choice college does not meet students’ expectations. Add the rising cost of education to this mix and many students choose to drop out until their goals become clear. Others choose to transfer to another school that better meets their needs early in their college career.
Transfer Tuesdays are one-on-one sessions designed to give returning students an opportunity to see how their credits might fulfill UNH degree requirements. Transfer admission counselors will be available to review copies of students’ transcripts and answer questions about transfer admission, transfer credit , and the benefits of attending UNH‘s affordable, commuter campus in Manchester. Sessions are first-come, first-served and no appointment is necessary between 2 and 6 PM on October 6, 13, 20, and 27.
Many people are finding that a college degree does make a difference in this difficult job market and have returned to college at UNH Manchester to gain a competitive edge. UNH Manchester offers a nationally respected UNH education at a more affordable and personal commuter campus. Students choose from degree programs in liberal arts, business science and technology, and attend both full- and part-time.
