Please follow this procedure to announce or promote activities and achievements.
The UNH Manchester Marketing & Community Relations Office publicizes college events and student, faculty and staff achievements in a variety of formats. If you have an activity or achievement, we want to know about it!
This procedure and request form is designed to maximize the promotion of your activity or achievement through news releases, media advisories, external calendars, Mill Works and Campus Connections. Provide complete information with as much advance notice as possible to insure prompt and accurate dissemination of information. If the information provided is incomplete or beyond media deadlines, the Marketing & Community Relations Office cannot guarantee effective promotion. We prioritize our workload based on the deadlines of media outlets and our existing projects. Please note that media outlets typically print news releases a minimum of 2-3 weeks after they are submitted.
- Information for time-sensitive events and activities must be submitted to the Marketing and Community Relations Office a minimum of 5 weeks in advance of the scheduled event or activity. This means all planning components of the event are in place and the information is complete.
- Non time-sensitive activities such as book publication or board membership can be submitted anytime and will be prepared and disseminated on the next cycle of releases.
- Information must be submitted via this online form. Supplemental items such as conference brochures or book reviews are welcome and appreciated. Please forward supplemental materials to the Marketing & Community Relations Office.
- Be as detailed as possible in your activity description. Include names of other individuals or institutions involved, or information that makes your activity stand out.
