College Opportunity Program for High School Juniors and Seniors
The College Opportunity Program at UNH Manchester is designed for juniors and seniors who want to get a head start in college or get the most from their high school experience prior to graduation. Students enroll in college courses at UNH Manchester, generally at the first year student level. While they earn college credit, students strengthen their academic credentials and gain confidence in their ability to succeed in college.
Students work with their guidance counselors and with the UNH Manchester Admissions Office for course selections and they have access to UNH Manchester's resources and services.
UNH Manchester recognizes the College Board's Advanced Placement Examination (AP) program as a means of evaluating a student's eligibility for advanced placement and credit. Students who have participated in the AP program and who have been admitted to the University should have official AP grade reports forwarded directly to the UNH Manchester Admissions Office from the College Board (CN6671, Princeton, NJ 08541-6671, telephone (609) 771-7300). After receiving the College Board AP grade report, the Admissions Office notifies the student, the student's adviser, and the Registrar's Office of any credit award and advanced placement. For more information, contact the UNH Manchester Office of Admission at 603-641-4150.
